    What is a very fast growing tree for Zone 9, or 12a, Phoenix, AZ area?
    I’ve planted alot but when the sun hits them in July, August, they just get burned up. I built a little shade house for my pink lemonade tree because it is small, but I want some fast shade trees. And not those ugly looking eucalyptus trees, unless there is a nice looking one.

    Hybrid poplars are very fast growing shade trees. I have some here in Florida and they all do great!
